Grand Canyon National Park
As you know, Grand Canyon is a world famous tourist attraction. Like its name, it is the biggest canyon in the world.
The canyon was made by strong current from Colorado River for many years. Although many tourists just visit the South Rim
and see its spectacular scenery from view points, some people go hiking to feel more intimate with it.
Grand Canyon Rims
- South Rim
- Most popular part of Grand Canyon. Many tourists visit this rim. Desert View which has a watchtower and Grand Canyon Village are
in South Rim. Also, there are many view points, and you can visit them with free suttle buses.
- North Rim
- North Rim is closed during the winter time. It is less popular than South Rim, but you can enjoy the feel of pure nature with many trees around.
- West Rim
- There are several Native American reservation in West Rim such as Hualapai and Havasupai, so you may need to pay to enter them. Grand Canyon Skywalk
and Havasupai falls are in the West.

Page is a small town, but it is travel hub in the Grand Circle to go to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, and others.

- It is a big and deep gorge. Its shape looks like horseshoe, so its name is Horseshoe Bend.

which are Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon.
- Lake Powell
- It is the second biggest man-made lake in the USA. The Lake View is wonderful with the canyon around it.
- Glen Canyon Dam
- It is One of the biggest Dam in the USA, and it was made when Lake Powell made.
- The Wave
- It is amazing to see the sandstones made by crustal movements and weathering. However, only 20 people are permitted
to enter it daily.
